Munnar is beautiful hillstation located in Idukki district of Kerala in the southern part of India. Munnar is an important tourist spot of kerala. Munnar is surrounded by vast jungles and remains wet and cold during most of the year, there are in fact three rivers - Madupetti, Nallathanni and Periavaru which flow through this town. The tea plantations and holiday facilities make this a popular hill station.

Rajamalai National Park: Here you can some of the endangered species, birds and wildlife. Anamudi Peak in this park is the highest peak (2695 m) south of the Himalayas. This is an ideal place for trekking. All the facilities are provided here and tourists are allowed to go on foot up to Anamudi.
Mattupetti Dam - This is a popular picnic spot, boating facilities are available here.
Echo Point - Echo point is located 15km from Munnar. It is a small lake set amidst rolling hills. Every loud call made from a spot on the lake is returned manifold by the echo from the surrounding hills.
